Career and Technical Education (CTE)
Career and Technical Education (CTE) at Jellico High School prepares students for success in college, careers, and industry certifications. Our programs follow Tennessee Department of Education-approved pathways and emphasize hands-on learning, real-world experience, and the opportunity to earn valuable industry credentials.
In addition to pathway courses, students may also participate in Work-Based Learning (WBL)—a program that allows juniors and seniors to gain real-world experience through internships, job shadowing, or paid work placements while earning high school credit. WBL helps students apply classroom knowledge in professional settings and explore potential career paths.
