Ayers Foundation Trust – Ayers Scholars Program
The Ayers Scholars Program, part of the Ayers Foundation Trust, is a nationally recognized college access and success initiative that supports students in 33 rural high schools across 21 Tennessee counties—including ours.
Through this program, full-time, trained advisors are embedded in schools to work closely with students. The goal is to ensure that every student develops a personalized plan to reach their goals—whether that means attending a community college, technical school, university, or joining the military after high school.
As students move through high school, Ayers Scholars receive ongoing support with:
- College and career planning
- Application and admissions guidance
- Financial aid and FAFSA assistance
- Identifying career pathways
But the support doesn’t stop at graduation. Ayers counselors continue to stay in touch with Scholars throughout college, offering encouragement and guidance to help them succeed and complete their postsecondary education.
